Make the World Listen to You
Get Sandwich is a startup that wants to help people who are struggling with public speaking by providing them with a library of authentic practice videos.
The startup was founded in 2017 by Min’an Tan and Martha Winata, who were also struggling with their public speeches. They believe that improving people’s public speaking skills means improving their lives.
“Get Sandwich is used to help scale teams’ high-performing excellence. All speaking practices get recorded and mined for constructive peer-to-peer feedback. Customers include Klarna, TEDxStockholm and Toastmasters clubs in Stockholm,” says their website.
Users Get Structured Feedbacks
Users can record videos of their presentations and upload them on the app, where they can get comments and advice from their coworkers and the community. They can rate the videos and give structured feedback customized to every case. If more precise feedback is needed, the video can be shared with larger teams.
The app enables users to save time and share the videos only people they choose. It provides a safe zone for small teams, which enables the reduction of speaking anxiety. All the videos are stored in a library which can serve for new employees or new speakers.
Get Sandwich Has Three Pricing Plans
The global E-Learning market had a value of $165.21 billion in 2015 and is expected to reach $275.10 billion by 2022. Some of the key factors for this growth are the bigger effects of combined and animated learning, easier accessibility, and low cost.
Get Sandwich offers three pricing plans. The first one is free and it targets individual users. They can share their presentations, upload their videos, get feedback, and follow their speaker journey. The second one costs SEK 100 and it’s suitable for teams. It has all the free features and it also gives the user-customized ratings, event and stage functionality, team library, and admin control. Larger organizations can purchase customized packages where they could get multi-team management, custom integration development, and SAML login credentials.
Klarna Uses Get Sandwich to Meet Learning Needs
One of the most famous Swedish startups Klarna recently became one of Get Sandwich’s customers. Klarna’s use of the service is primarily about training new staff in selling the company’s products.
“Complex sales have become our norm. As we grow globally, we are looking for innovative solutions to educate and expand staff faster. We are very happy about the help from Get sandwich to meet the learning needs,” says Filip Lam, Head of Education and Development at Klarna.
